Dear Members: The New England Branch Spring Meeting will be held in Danvers, MA at the Sheraton Ferncroft Hotel on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday May 15, 16, and 17, 2009. The hotel is located at exit 50 north and south off Interstate 95. When making your reservations, you must state you are with the Second Division Assn, New England Branch. Room rates are $89 plus tax per night. On December 23, 2008, Judge Robert R. Maynard passed away. I hope you all join me in sending your thoughts and prayers to his wife, Peggy, and family. Bob was in the 9th Infantry Regiment, Company E and landed at Normandy on D-Day plus 1. Most of you know we also lost Tom Daley this year. Ed Leeming
